Make-A-Difference Day

National Make A Difference Day is the most encompassing day of service. Annually over 3 million Americans work nationwide to complete community based projects fueled by volunteer efforts.

Fresno will be celebrating Make A Difference Day by launching 7 large scale projects in each city council district allowing the entire community to benefit from the volunteer event. This project has the combined goals of uniting our community as neighbors and working as on to make Fresno a more beautiful place to live and work.

Join us in promoting a healthy community through volunteerism!

We are looking for beautification projects in our community. What kind of beautification projects need to get done in your neighborhood? If you would like to submit a project, please complete the project application form. This form can be submitted via fax or mail.

Please note:

• The project must benefit the entire community, not individuals.
• Projects will be selected by the Make A Difference Day committee
• Project selections will be posted by the beginning of September 2008
